Software Validation & Verification Engineer (f/m/d)

We are currently looking ​​for an experienced ​Validation & Verification Engineer (m/f/d) for our NFC ​software in our Graz office.
Your Responsibilities
  • Software verification/validation of NFC based systems
  • Specification and implementation of software test concepts
  • Define requirements for necessary test software and hardware
  • Define software test plans according to Software/Product Requirement Specification
  • Contribute to software test architecture decisions covering current and future products
  • Implementation, verification and review of software test cases
  • Optimization of test software/test cases including automation, execution time, robustness, debugging and logging possibilities
  • Software test execution and first level debugging
  • Documentation (test case implementation, test reports, bug reports)
  • Maintenance of software test setup
  • Working with external partners (defining and monitoring SW V&V related tasks)

Are you the right person?
  • You have a degree in the field of software engineering, computer science or equivalent
  • You have practical experience in identifying and implementation of test cases/ test scenarios
  • You bring practical experience in creating test plans
  • You have a solid understanding of SDLC and STLC (Software Development/Test Life Cycle)
  • You bring solid programming skills in Java, ANSI C, C++
  • You are experienced in script languages (e.g. Python) and build tools (e.g. CMake, Maven)
  • You have experience with software development and version control system (e.g. Git, etc.,)
  • You show strong analytical skills
  • You are able to work independently and as part of a team
  • You are experienced in automating lab tests
  • You have good English and local language skills (written and spoken)
  • You demonstrate good communication skills (engaging with other engineers, managers, customers)

  • You are able to use laboratory equipment like oscilloscopes, logic analyzers etc.   
  • You are experienced in NFC/RFID protocols, specifications and certification bodies   
  • You have experience in DevOps/ Continuous Integration

​*Information for Austria: We offer a salary in line with the market starting from ​3,500 EUR per month (full-time) depending on your experience and qualification.

About us
Since 2014 we have been working on the development of innovative products based on NFC technology, consisting of hardware and software. To date we have successfully launched multiple NFC ICs into the market. Our NFC products are used for example in Point of Sale terminals, wireless charging of wearables (small battery accessories, smart watches, etc.) or in the field of Internet of Things (IoT). The innovative strength of our company, which has now grown to a team of around 60 people, was also recently confirmed by winning the Austrian Innovation Award 2020/2021 as well as the CES 2022 Innovation Award for one of our products.
